International organizations and unions strongly condemned the recent statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the so-called “Greater Israel,” considering them a blatant violation of international law and a direct threat to international peace and security. They further emphasized that such statements entrench the policies of occupation and settlement expansion at the expense of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The organizations stressed that these remarks are not merely a passing political stance, but rather reveal a colonial and expansionist agenda that threatens to ignite the region, undermine all peace efforts, and seriously compromise United Nations and Security Council resolutions, which clearly affirm the illegality of occupation and settlement, and the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

They also urged parliaments, governments, and civil society organizations around the world to adopt clear and firm positions rejecting expansionist policies that threaten regional stability and exacerbate the suffering of the Palestinian people, particularly in light of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The statement further emphasized the need to classify Benjamin Netanyahu and some members of his government as war criminals to be prosecuted before international justice.
