On September 20, 2022, Mr. Mohamed Kharouf, Commissioner-General of the African Union, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Algeria, Dr. Theresa Loken. The meeting was also attended by the General Inspector of the Organization in Africa, Mr. Ali Kerchoush.
During the friendly talks, Mr. Mohammed and the Norwegian Ambassador reviewed the mechanism of cooperation in all economic, social, cultural, and humanitarian issues, how to attract quality investments, develop tourism, and sustainable development, in addition to exchanging views on prospects. The two interlocutors praised the positive dynamism and the solid partnership that characterizes the Algerian and Norwegian relations in the commercial, tourism, economic, industrial, and investment fields, noting the tourism wealth gained by Algeria and Norway.
